About Us

Wellspring Outfitters is a non-profit ministry that began with the call of Christ to reach out to men and their families.  It is our desire to help equip people to fullfill the Great Commandment Jesus gave us in Matthew 22:37-40 which reads "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments."
 
There are no paid staff at Wellspring Outfitters.  The ministry was started by 3 guys that are devoted followers of Christ who just happen to work in the medical field.  The vision of Wellspring has brought us to work together to see His Kingdom advanced.  We plan to accomplish much of the ministry using a network of individuals who share our hearts.  We also work in partnership with other ministries and through individual churches.
 
The three include John Kelley MD, Chance Williams MD, and Ryan Hiesterman, OD.  We each continue to work part-time in our professions to provide for our families.  We  use the extra time we have found to invest more in our families as well as the ministry of Wellspring.  We are honored to serve in the body of Christ and appreciate the full support of our wives and children in this great adventure.  We are humbled by the blessings Christ has bestowed on our families as we step out in faith to walk on this road with Him. 
 
We also want to honor our wives and children in our words here and in our lives.  John is married to Dana and has 3 children--Josh, Jarius, and Anna.  They are in the process of adopting a girl from China.  Chance is married to Shauna and has 6 children--Rachael, Brayton, Jennifer, Witt, Gabe, and Zeb.  Their family recently grew through the adoption of two children from Nicaragua.  Ryan is married to Lindsay and has 2 children--Owen and Lillie.  Our lives are full thanks to the love of Christ and the love and blessings of our wives and children.
